Fredericksburg-based gastroenterologist recognized for patient-centered care and clinical excellence 

Dr. Christopher A. Fincke, MD, a board-certified gastroenterologist with over 25 years of experience, continues to set the standard for digestive health care in the Texas Hill Country. Practicing at HCM Medical Group in Fredericksburg, Dr. Fincke is affiliated with Hill Country Memorial Hospital and Methodist Hospital Hill Country, where he is known for his expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures and his commitment to patient education and preventive care. 

A graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine, Dr. Fincke completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the National Capital Consortium and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. His clinical focus includes the diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and pancreatic disorders. Dr. Fincke is also experienced in performing colonoscopies and upper GI endoscopies, procedures vital for early detection and management of gastrointestinal diseases.

Dr. Fincke emphasizes the importance of lifestyle choices in maintaining gastrointestinal health. He advocates for a balanced diet, moderation in the use of antibiotics and NSAIDs, and maintaining a healthy body weight.
